An Interview with Stephen Choate: Part 1 – Sharing God’s Vision

Stephen Choate has a unique ministry through his website, SpeakGodSpeak. At an early age, Choate developed a strong personal relationship with God, and he currently ministers as a prophet, sharing his visions both publicly and privately with individuals, religious leaders, and world leaders. He recently sat down for an interview to talk about his ministry and some of his prophecies.

Question: Why do you do what you do?

Stephen Choate: Even as a child, I sought God. My main goal with my SpeakGodSpeak ministry is to bring God to people in a way that they may not have experienced before. At its heart, my ministry is about people truly knowing God.

Question: You talk a lot about people knowing and experiencing God. Isn’t that what they are getting through churches and other religious ministries?

Stephen Choate: I actually believe that many churches misrepresent God. After all, God didn’t design or ask for religion. What God designed was relationships. I don’t think churches foster a healthy relationship with God, because having a relationship is something internal and very personal.

Question: How can one go about having a relationship with God?

Stephen Choate: I believe that your relationship with God has always existed. Deep inside of you somewhere, you know and understand that connection with God, even if you aren’t paying attention to it. As soon as you begin to foster that relationship, however, God will begin to infuse you, and His moral code will begin to act in your life at an accelerated rate.
